Mining Investments
Our mining investment activities are strategically aligned with the evolving demands of the low-carbon economy. At Intermundi, we are actively negotiating with mining operators to secure strategic positions in mines that extract resources critical to this transition, such as lithium, copper, gold, niobium, and particularly cassiterite - key minerals that are foundational to renewable energy technologies and sustainable industrial practices.
To effectively execute these projects, we establish Special Purpose Entities (SPEs) aimed at raising venture capital. This capital is dedicated to two primary objectives: conducting thorough geological research and evaluating the mining potential of targeted sites, as well as developing mines that face financial and material constraints. This dual approach ensures that we not only identify promising opportunities but also facilitate their successful realization.
Recently, Intermundi secured exploration rights for high-value minerals in Brazil's most promising mining region, focusing on cassiterite and gold. Our operational area encompasses over 1,800 hectares in the northern part of Brazil, a region known for its rich mineral deposits and potential for sustainable mining operations.
The initial capital requirement for the acquisition and development of these properties, including additional projects focused on lithium, copper, gold, and niobium, exceeds USD 25,000,000. These substantial investments are backed by a comprehensive range of guarantees that enhance the security and attractiveness of our operations, positioning Intermundi as a key player in the mining sector and ensuring promising returns for our stakeholders.
